National Dog Day was established in 2004.
The aim of the day is to raise awareness about the number of dogs that are currently in rescue centres and encourage the adoption of these animals.

Rupert our Flat Coat Cross was a stray, brought over from Ireland by the Dog’s Trust. We were so lucky to be allocated him as a good fit for our family 8 years ago- he really is a gorgeous boy who has such a wonderful character.

Reggie is our daughter’s Pug puppy- he is such a lovely little fella with a massive personality.
