As a leading health and safety consulting and training company, we believe in using our knowledge and expertise to make a positive impact. That’s why we have proudly partnered with Beat the Cold; a local charity dedicated to reducing fuel poverty and improving the lives of vulnerable individuals.

They are a fantastic independent charity working to reduce the incidence of cold-related illness and fuel poverty. Fuel poverty – a distressing reality for many households – poses serious health and safety risks. As a company committed to promoting well-being, it was only natural for us to align our efforts with this cause.

Given their vital work, and as a token of gratitude for being our first ‘ever’ client at Ensure, we have decided to make Beat the Cold our ‘Charity of the Year’, offering our services free of charge, to honour their impactful work and nearly 13 years of loyalty.

While we work with many charities, providing them with a discount on our services, Beat the Cold have really stood out to us over the past few months, given the current climate.

We provide our expertise in health and safety consulting and training, providing services such as acting as their competent person, effectively being their part-time health and safety manager, providing regular reviews of their management systems including: risk assessments, safe systems of work, health and safety policies, as well as emergency procedures, policies, and procedures.

We are proud to continue fostering strong relationships with local charities, building the connection between integrity, health and safety, and meaningful impacts within our local communities. We will continue to strive to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals through the training and expertise we can offer.

This is the last in a series of articles we have shared in relation to our values. It’s been a great reminder of how they underpin each other and for us share examples.
