From virtually nothing we now have a complete set of procedures covering SSOW and RAMS and Fire Safety to First Aid and have established a fully documented training schedule covering all staff.
We are proud that our H & S procedures are to a level that satisfies the rigorous demands of supplying and supporting Woodworking Machinery to the trade.

I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of refreshing their First Aid Training to consider attending a course with Ensure Safety and Training. It just might save a life!
We are busy and growing industrial and commercial construction company. We needed support on everything health, safety and training related and were faced with the challenge of employing someone full time and finding the salary and the ever increasing training costs.
A supplier of ours suggested Ensure would be able to assist with everything. I initially met with Adi to discuss our requirements and I was impressed with not just with his expertise but also his professionalism.
Since then, over the last 5 years, Ensures involvement with our company has grown and grown; Adi And Annette now take care of everything we need including all of our training- such as first aid, working at height, asbestos awareness, HAVS and fire marshal.
Adi now has his own desk in the office and takes care of all the health and safety paperwork, accreditations, the training matrix etc at least one day a week. He visits our sites wherever we are and completes an audit for the client to view.
Ensure are of a fundamental support to us and I don’t see how we would cope without their back up. To anyone who is thinking of using Adi and Annette then I can highly recommend them as Health safety and training consultants.
Adi has provided invaluable assistance and guidance in a clear, understandable manner which is not only entirely appropriate to Visyon but also realistic. He has carried out risk and fire assessments of our buildings and activities, and helped us to overhaul our health and safety processes. Adi’s knowledge is clearly up-to-date and comprehensive, and he has instilled us with confidence.
Some of our team have also attended training sessions at Ensure’s base in Nantwich; Fire Warden, First Aid at Work and Food Handling. The courses were very relaxed and easy to follow, but extremely informative. One of our team struggles with anxiety, and Annette and Adi really went out of their way to ensure that they were included, and able to gain the confidence and knowledge to complete the course.
We have found Annette and Adi to be friendly, approachable and extremely helpful at all times. Now we have the peace-of-mind that comes with knowing that we are not putting our staff or our clients at unnecessary risk, and that we are fulfilling our legal requirements. We are so grateful to be supported by Adi and Annette.
Writing these was a daunting task for us and, on occasions, they were not accepted by our clients as we found we were not being specific and detailed enough.
Adi has now delivered to us a well-structured training programme to our staff which was clear, logical and effective. We now have the confidence to provide professional and well thought out RAMS which are site and job specific. Now, as well as promoting safe work practices and minimising risks associated with potential hazards in the work place, we feel that our clients appreciate our professional attitude to health and safety.
Adi has been more than happy to look over any RAMS that we have produced since the training, coming back to us quickly with constructive help and advise as necessary.It is great for us to know that he is on board with any support we require.
The Manual Handling, which can be a very boring subject, was well received by all attendees and will hopefully bring some benefits to the company.
I have had comments this morning about how interesting the Fire Warden training was yesterday, how they enjoyed the chance to use a fire extinguisher and they felt that they had learned a great deal.
I’ll add my thanks to that; you never fail to deliver a good training package.
